Locally harvested wine enjoyed in the clubhouse

In September 2017 our skilled greenkeeping team were out again in the early hours, hand-picking grapes from vines throughout the historic grounds of the course. After another full year of nourishing the vineyards, the Mavro grapes were ready and ripe, promising to live up to the high expectations of our local wine producer and specialist, Angelos Tsangarides. 2016 was the first harvest at Minthis.

This wine is now ready and has been bottled at the winery in nearby Lemona village. The fresh crop will be blended with Tsangarides’ best Shiraz before making its way to the table. Both vintages promise to be excellent, authentic products of Cyprus, soon to be enjoyed widely, including at the resort’s clubhouse.
