Alongside North Ayrshire Council and Active Schools North Ayrshire, the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open encouraged local schoolchildren to engage with the event by participating in a poster design competition. The tournament received over 250 entries from across North Ayrshire, with seven students chosen as winners. Their creative designs were displayed throughout the event and around the community, helping to build excitement in the lead-up to the tournament.
The winners were also invited to Dundonald Links during the tournament to see their artwork featured, fostering a sense of pride and connection to the event. This initiative highlights the tournament’s commitment to community engagement, creating lasting memories for local youth and strengthening ties with the surrounding community.
