As part of Operation Pollinator and as custodians of our course, we encourage the public to visit and learn where possible. That invitation was extended to the local nursery who came in to help spread some wildflower seeds and learn why it's important for pollinating bees. We explained the end product in certain fruits and vegetables that would be in their lunch boxes and explained that these are 100% dependent on bee pollination.

30 children and 5 adults enjoyed the talk and have organised to come back to visit the beehive and see the flowers they planted! 27 adults came in later in the day to learn the same - the only difference was they didn't get a sticker but did join the Bee club!
