Belvoir Park GC has numerous veteran and ancient trees onsite, some are thought to be over 350 years old, however, one of the trees, an old oak, may even be well over 500 years old!
The tree in question has a girth of 6.7 meters and is classed as a 'Tree of National Special Interest' by the Woodland Trust. This means that there are no larger oaks in this area of Northern Ireland. A real beauty and only halfway through its life.
