Lahinch Golf Club is making waves in the sustainability arena by taking a proactive step to eliminate the sale of single use plastic bottles. With a firm commitment to environmental stewardship, the Club has installed 10 water dispensers strategically placed throughout the property including on both golf course, offering a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic bottles.
Green fee visitors will receive a complimentary reusable bottle on registration to encourage participation and raise awareness. This initiative will remove over 15,000 single use plastic bottles from circulation and follows the Club’s decision to cease the sale of all plastic products, including tees, from the Golf Shop in 2019.
