Lahinch Golf Club continues its commitment to making a positive impact within the local region by hosting a "Play in Pink" charity golf day. This annual event, first played in 2014, raises much needed funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute at University Hospital Galway and its popularity continues to grow annually.
In 2023, over €21,000 was raised on the day and since its inception, Lahinch Golf Club has raised over €150,000 to support breast cancer research and awareness. The camaraderie and atmosphere on the day is full of enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose. Members and visitors from far and wide come together, donning shades of pink to show their support for this worthy cause.
