In 2024, Lahinch Golf Club reaffirmed its commitment to benefitting the local community with its annual "Play in Pink" charity golf day. This event, established in 2014, raises vital funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute at University Hospital Galway and has grown in popularity each year.
The 2024 event raised over €23,000, contributing to Lahinch Golf Club's cumulative total of over €160,000 since its inception, supporting breast cancer research and awareness. Participants from near and far unite in a spirit of camaraderie and purpose, sporting various shades of pink to demonstrate solidarity for this important cause.
