Komen Cup for charity

2022

In Margara we usually organize charity competitions, this year the Komen Trophy was played. Susan G. Komen Italy is an organization based on volunteering, at the forefront of the fight against breast cancer throughout the country. It was founded in 2000 in Rome as the first sharpened European Susan G. Komen of Dallas under the guidance of Prof. Riccardo Masetti, current President.

The objectives are:

• To focus attention on breast cancer and more generally on women’s health and to promote prevention in its various forms
• To support women who experience breast cancer
• To strengthen research and treatment opportunities,
• To help other Associations to put virtuous ideas into better play.

In addition to this race every year we organize a ProAm in favor of Lions.
