Harjattula Golf & Country Club invested in irrigation renovation in 2021. The original irrigation system was installed in 1989 when the course was built. In the old system, all sprinkles were controlled by decoders and valves, fairway sprinklers were controlled in groups of three and greens had 5-6 sprinklers in each group.

The new system is RainBird IC - every sprinkler in fairways, approaches and greens are single controlled for maximum control. There is a new cable that spans the whole course and a new pipe and cable around the greens to service the brand new sprinklers. Greens are sector sprinklers so the water goes where needed and we can set our own time for every sprinkler.

We can save now more water and also electricity because pumps run less.
