Our Mains Water Reduction Project has received a boost with the delivery of our custom-built Portable Water Bowser. This equipment is specifically designed to extract 2000 litres of water from one of our 6 ponds and transport it to areas of the course requiring irrigation. The water is dispensed through a 20-metre hose fitted with an adjustable spray nozzle. Additionally, it can be used to clear standing water from the course, providing added versatility.
By utilising this technology, we reduce our dependency on external water sources during dry spells, such as mains water. This aligns with our goal of achieving fully sustainable irrigation practices and enhances our self-sufficiency in water sourcing.
