Insect huts help to communicate golf's biodiversity

Golf Du Rhin

In order to improve communication of the courses biodiversity, the decision was made to install insect huts. The natural landscape of the course already provides a haven for insects, with large areas of fallow land and dead trees left behind. However, to explain our approach to visitors and surrounding schools, an insect hut was constructed from old trunks. We hope that this will allow for better visualisation and therefore a better understanding of the role that golf can have as a sanctuary for an increasingly threatened biodiversity.
