In 2016, the almost completely renovated sprinkler system came into operation. All the sprinklers are single head managed, on the edges of the fairways the sprinklers are located facing into the fairways so that no water is wasted by spraying the rough. The aim of the sprinkler installation is for it to operate based on measured moisture percentages in the ground. First, the drier areas are sprayed using a hosepipe and if that is insufficient, then the system is automatically activated. The water for the system comes from our own water basin and if that looks to be getting low, water from our own groundwater source is mixed up with the surface water to guarantee a fairly constant quality.
