Over the last 5 years we have been working super hard at Pannal GC to improve the quality of our golf course, working on tree management, course architecture, and importantly, the diversity of our environment. We now have areas for managed and un-managed wildlife, the pollinator area with some wildflowers and grasses, and the un-managed woodland floor with a lovely layer of brambles.
It is hard to say how many species of wildlife will be using/living in these areas. In the un-managed areas, we have several log piles which are nicely rotting in and providing homes and habitat. The stunning link between these habitats is great.
