Hørsholm Golf has decided to extend the season for members and guests with limited mobility, enabling them to enjoy social time with friends and acquaintances for more of the year. This has been made possible through an investment in new buggies equipped with geo-fence technology, allowing us to restrict access to wet areas and thereby extend the golf season. We expect to offer an extra month of play on each side of summer.
The buggies are keyless, so members and guests can access them around the clock. They’re also equipped with integrated screens, eliminating the need for traditional scorecards or paper course guides—everything needed is available directly in the cart. Additionally, the carts use lithium technology rather than the old lead battery packs, resulting in lower energy consumption per round and a longer lifespan.
