In the autumn of 2022, we undertook a comprehensive transformation by replacing the existing lighting system with state-of-the-art LED lights. This transition to LED technology not only provides superior illumination but also reduces energy consumption, resulting in long-term cost savings and a reduced environmental impact.
We also further enhanced the heating system within the maintenance hall. The outdated radiant heaters were replaced with two energy-efficient air-source heat pumps. These heat pumps harness the ambient air to generate warmth, providing effective heating while significantly reducing energy consumption. Additionally, we ensured that the ventilation system in the maintenance hall was properly maintained and optimised. This ensures a consistent supply of fresh air while maintaining an ideal working environment for our staff.
