Honey Buzzard is bird of the month!

There is a lot of active birdlife around the grounds including breeding Lapwings, Egyptian Geese, Coots and many smaller birds. The highlight, a first reported bird sighting within Bryanston Country Club grounds of a European Honey Buzzard - sighted on Sunday 31 January around the 17th green. As this is a special sighting, this bird is chosen as our Bird of the Month for February. It is interesting that a Honey Buzzard was seen and photographed in Bryanston East earlier in January by Keith Stannard but we cannot be sure if this is the same individual bird.
