The Conservation Volunteer team from TCV returned to work alongside the team at Moortown to assist our ongoing management of the Club's lowland heath site.
Returning during the first week of August 2023, the party aided the management of the heath by removing unwanted regeneration of saplings and undesirable specimens from the heather banks of the 5th and 6th holes. Over the years the team has helped the greenkeeping team across a variety of areas of the course from established heather areas to areas where the Club has scraped to encourage the return of heather to the 175 acres site.
