A pair of White Faced Herons often visit our course. Last year, they successfully raised two fledglings. The herons are regularly on our fairways and in our watercourses fishing for yabbies and frogs. As it is spring, they are one of a variety of birds currently nesting. Other birds include: Australasian Grebes, Wood Ducks, Pacific Black Ducks, Masked Lapwing Plovers, Purple Swamphens, Magpies, Magpie-larks and Collared Sparrrowhawks.
