Two new designer-clad wheelie bins made their appearance at Market Harborough Golf Club on the 3rd of July 2019 as part of the club's environmental initiative. The bins, wrapped and designed to seem ivy-clad, will be placed where golfers come off the course having played either 9 or 18 holes.

Golfers will be asked to carry their rubbish around with them, then when they finish their game, separate their waste into general, non-recyclable material, and material that can go into the mixed recycling bins. These mixed recycling bins will then be collected and sorted by the local council. The introduction of the bins is part of the club's wider environment policy, launched in April 2019.
