Native grass and buffer zones

The decision was taken to reduce the current Bermudagrass footprint of the Ocean Course via the establishment of native grass varieties (Sporobolus, Little Blue Stem, Grama); low maintenance turf varieties (cow grass); and ornamental ground covers (wedelia, sweet potato vine, alternanthera, ground peanut).

Additionally, we are also trialling the use of similar plant types to create buffer zones around water bodies.
