We are spending time to watch what areas of the course are getting heavy wear from extensive golfer traffic. Some days we have over 200 golfers on the course and it is important to ensure we have turf space for them to play – equally, we can see areas that they do not use or areas of green where they are overly worn out. We can then adjust grassing lines to make the best of the design and course presentation – aiming to reduce overall water demands. We have reduced by around 4 hectares since we opened.
