I klubbens och företagets strävan att öka kontakten mellan golfverksamheten och civilsamhället öppnades möjligheten genom att låta Svenska Kyrkan, Åtvids församling genomföra en morgongudstjänst vid banans 10:e tee. Söndagsmorgonen 30:e maj 2019 firades Kristi himmelsfärd i strålande solsken men med frisk vind. Kyrkoherde Kirsten Alm predikade och kyrkokören sjöng under ledning av Reine Eriksson. Ett 40-tal åhörare deltog utöver ca 20 sångare. Efter gudstjänsten samlades alla i Golfrestaurangen för en gemensam frukost.

In an effort to increase links between the golf industry and the wider community Atvidaberg Golf Resort opened their fairways up on the morning of Sunday 30th May. To celebrate Ascension Day, they invited Atvids parish and The Church of Sweden to conduct their worship on the path beneath the 10th tee.
The service took place in bright sunshine but with a fresh wind. The vicar Kirsten Alm preached and the church choir sang under the direction of Reine Eriksson. A congregation of around forty were present in addition to about twenty singers. After the service, they all gathered in the Golf restaurant for breakfast.
