2022
In 2022, the Golf Club de Genève acquired a brand new fleet of electric and hybrid equipment for a value of 1.3 million CHF. We now use electric transporters, simplex and triplex for greens aprons and tees, electric rollers and hybrid mowers for fairways.
This allows us to maintain the course with less noise for the players and neighbours, and a substantial reduction in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission. Our next goal is to build a solar plant to supply the golf course machinery.
