In early 2023, we successfully completed a comprehensive LED light conversion across all areas of the club. This initiative encompassed upgrading the lighting systems in the greenkeeping maintenance facility, professional shop, and clubhouse. Careful consideration was given to preserving the clubhouse's character while enhancing visibility in the more industrial environment of the maintenance facility. To achieve this, warm white light LEDs and cool white light LEDs were strategically installed in different locations.
The introduction of these new LED lights serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it significantly contributes to reducing the club's energy consumption, resulting in lower electricity usage and operational costs. By embracing energy-efficient LED technology, we actively work towards minimising our environmental impact and reducing the club's carbon footprint. Secondly, this upgrade ensures that our facilities maintain a visually appealing ambiance while prioritising sustainability.
