At The Ranch at Laguna Beach, we have transformed a sustainable vision into reality by repurposing empty glass bottles on our premises. Our on-site glass bottle crusher turns these bottles into a valuable resource: sand. This sand serves a multitude of purposes within our operations, including bunker filling on our golf course, pavement repairs, and pool filtration.
This innovative approach not only enhances our operational efficiency but also aligns with our commitment to planetary conservation. Annually, we proudly produce 70 U.S. tons of sand through this process, achieving a remarkable 90% reduction in waste volume. Moreover, it significantly reduces our carbon footprint by eliminating the need to transport and process glass waste off-site.
