Extensive waste management

Costa Navarino Dunes

Greece

Written by: Petar Milos

An extensive recycling program for paper, plastics, glass, used oil, batteries and organic waste has been set in motion in Costa Navarino, resulting in a significant reduction of the volume of waste ending up in landfills. Since 2014, the trimmings from trees at Costa Navarino are being turned into compost at a facility operating within our premises. The compost produced is subsequently used in the gardens and on the golf courses. Additionally, the wastewater from Costa Navarino facilities is treated in a large-scale wastewater treatment facility, 100% recycled and used for irrigation.
