While creating small biotopes on golf courses may not be new, we’ve embraced the trend of using branches and stones to benefit local wildlife. Leaving fallen branches on site not only supports the fauna but can also enhance the aesthetic of the course. We’ve created various habitats using branch piles, stone heaps, deadwood hedges, and other wooden structures to support biodiversity.
