Restaurant “De Gagel” with bar and terrace is located in our club building on the first floor. This is also where almost all social happenings before and after matches take place, as well as the weekly bridge drives.
For people with reduced mobility, this main floor was difficult to reach. It could be reached from the outside, but even then it wasn’t possible to avoid the 7 steps to get to the terrace or to get inside via the terrace.
It was decided to install a passenger lift when the clubhouse was renovated. In this way members, even at an older age, can remain part of and enjoy our club many years longer and in that we can create a more sustainable/durable membership.
