Electric buggies save 150,000kg of CO2 annually

We have over 200 golf buggies serving our 3 golf courses at Quinta do Lago, all of which are Zero Emission technology and powered by batteries. We have a very high uptake of buggy use over the courses with each buggy being used at least once a day and multiple rounds during peak season.

This has put even more emphasis on adopting clean energy, reducing both our carbon footprint and maintenance hours while providing a cleaner, safer working environment. We estimate that over the course of a year we can save over 150,000kg CO2 versus using petrol-powered buggies.
