The vibrant green-feathered Rose-Ringed Parakeets are a frequent presence both on the golf course and around the clubhouse. Initially introduced to Dubai in the early 70s, these parakeets exhibit a docile nature and often come into close proximity with guests. They choose varied locations for nesting, including roofs of buildings, tree holes, and even lampposts.
In addition to their presence enhancing the visual appeal of the golf course, these parakeets contribute to the site's ecological diversity. Their natural diet, consisting of buds, fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, and seeds. The coexistence of these birds with our golfing environment not only showcases biodiversity but also adds an aesthetic charm for our golfers to appreciate.
