The LIV Golf Sentosa event delivered a number of key sustainability initiatives.
The tournament was powered by two advanced green batteries and 24,000 litres of HVO fuel, and overall 40% of energy was provided from renewable sources, cutting event emissions by over 55,000 kg.
The team also reduced waste by 30% through on-site processing of materials, and cut down on over 30,000 plastic bottles by providing hydration stations across the course.
The event capped off with a sustainability summit that brought together individuals from the region and around the world to help promote sustainability as a priority for sports and events.
