We are committed to maintaining flower beds that benefit both the ecosystem and our pollinators. Recently, new Lavender cuttings were planted, and they are now in full bloom, attracting a variety of bees and butterflies. Lavender is particularly important to our native and wild bee species, as it provides an abundant source of nectar.
Pollinators, like bees and butterflies, play a crucial role in sustaining biodiversity, supporting plant reproduction, and contributing to healthier ecosystems. On the golf course, they help maintain the natural balance by encouraging plant growth and supporting the surrounding wildlife, making it an important part of our management practices.
We will continue to introduce new Lavender in different areas, while maintaining or replacing older plants with more compact, hardier varieties to ensure their longevity and effectiveness in supporting pollinators.
