At Golf Club du Domaine Impérial, to reduce our water usage, we combine multiple sources of information before we apply water to our surfaces.
We take daily moisture readings of all our playing surfaces, with the addition of thorough visual checks to determine if we need to apply water. We also collect data using our onsite weather station to help plan ahead for the night time irrigation cycle. This allows us to efficiently manage and reduce our water usage, ensuring only the surfaces that need water are being watered.
