Creation of hedgehog huts to protect our natural insect repellents

Golf Du Rhin

France

Written by: Paul Bontemps

This year the decision was made to create two hedgehog huts next to the existing vegetable garden. Indeed, hedgehogs are indispensable for the gardens because they eat the insects present.

However, in order for them to feel comfortable and not be killed by their natural predators (foxes, badgers) it is necessary to build them shelters. Note that hedgehogs are a protected species in France. We are therefore committed to the protection of this small mammal in a place that is conducive to its development as the Golf du Rhin.
