Creating a strong sense of community

Hørsholm Golf has teamed up with the local sports boarding school, providing the facilities for their golf students. This has helped strengthen the local sense of community.

The students help Hørsholm Golf to pick up the balls on the driving range during the wetter winter months when the machines have a harder time collecting them. By having the students help, they feel like part of the team. It is no small feat collecting the balls - during the weekends some 20,000 get used on the driving range. In return for their hard work, the students earn pocket money which goes towards their golf studies.
