This year, to go along with all the improvements we already made to the ecological aspect of our course, we decided it was time to install a few nesting boxes. As we are located in an area favourable to raptors (we get a lot of Common Buzzards or Kestrels and already made our 150m distance stick a perch for all raptors) we made a total of 4 nesting boxes for kestrel and one nesting box for a little owl (Athene noctua). And to add to the count, we made 20 "classic" nesting boxes for all type of bird and put them in our clump of trees. Depending on how much they are used, we may add more in the next few years or modify some.
