This special tradition was reinstated with our Past Captains planting a tree to celebrate their captaincy and contribute to a greener future for our course and planet. Trees were planted on the right of the 8th fairway.
The magnificent varieties that were planted came from our tree nursery that has been lovingly cared for by John and Shel Skeen and includes Weeping Boer-bean, Calpurnia Aurea, Leapard, Cape Holly and Canbage Trees. Thank you to all those members that contributed to the tree nursery two years ago!
