Lincoln Golf continues to foster a strong connection with the local community, striving to create an environment that is more than just a golf club, but a welcoming space for all. This has become particularly important recently, as the closure of the only other nearby restaurant has left a gap in local social spaces. To address this, the club introduced a social membership, which has seen steady growth year on year.
Additionally, the club hosts a variety of community gatherings, such as coffee mornings for the local retirement village Croquet Club, Coffee Club, Gardening Club, and Red Hatters Club, offering a central hub for social activities. The club also serves as the venue for local Brampton Council meetings, further embedding it within the community.
Charity work is also at the heart of the club's efforts to give back. Each year, the club’s captains raise funds for a chosen charity, with over £10,000 raised in the last two years. In 2025, the chosen charity will be the Nomad Trust, a local organisation that provides emergency accommodation for those in need. To support this cause, the club captains and several members will be camping outside the Cathedral in March 2025 to raise funds for the trust.
