Bug hotel and pollinating flowers bring back pollinators

The gradual disappearance of natural habitats and increasing environmental pollution is bringing about a rapid decline in the number of pollinating insects.

To address this problem we have launched a pollinators initiative with the aim of creating new ideal habitats for pollinating insects. The sowing of special plants rich in nectar and pollen can attract these small animals which in turn will draw mammals and birds to these selected areas. The operation also intends to draw the attention of golfers by positioning bug hotels and beehives to produce honey along the course.

During the 6th European Turfgrass Society Field Days that will be held at our club, all delegates will be provided with our first jars of honey with 'Golf della Montecchia' label.
