In a further step towards being environmentally friendly and reducing our carbon footprint, the Golf Club has recently introduced Woburn branded reusable mugs. A free standard Americano or Tea is served with each mug purchased and a 10% discount will be applied each time a take out hot drink is purchased when reusing a Woburn branded cup.
The initiative has already been the subject of some very positive feedback with sales of the mugs already better than expected. Following their launch, we are already looking to place a further order for the supply of some additional mugs. This will reduce the needs for disposable cup as time moves on. However, in the meantime, we have purchased cups made from plant products; this is also now the case for our outdoor cutlery and sandwich boxes.
