St Andrews Links has recently installed new drinking water dispensers throughout the Home of Golf. Collaborating with Bluewater providers, these dispensers are strategically positioned for convenient access by golfers, visitors, and staff.
This sustainability initiative aims to eliminate the reliance on single-use plastic bottles. All staff members have been urged to utilise the dispensers and have been provided with their own reusable water bottles.
Single use plastics are one of the most common items collected by our Ranger Service when they do their beach cleans, so targeting plastic waste whilst providing a welcome service to our customers is a double win.
