Through sustainable practices, our ecology group utilised recycled wood and donations to craft approximately 15-20 boxes, including 2 owl boxes, 5 bat boxes, and others for diverse bird species. Future plans include expanding the box network as opportunities arise, with ongoing monitoring for activity.

Recognising the crucial role birds play in maintaining ecosystem stability by controlling bug and pest levels, we aim to support local bird populations on and around the course through the introduction of these purpose-built nesting boxes.
