Buizerd horsten - Capelse Golfbaan Doordat er veel gebiedsontwikkelingen zullen plaats vinden in de omgeving van de Capelse Golfbaan de komende twee jaar is het mogelijk dat de huidige horsten (jaarrond gebruikte nesten) van de buizerd verstoord kunnen worden. Compensaties met kunsthorsten is noodzakelijk om buizerds in dit gebied te behouden. In samenwerking met de ecoloog van Stadsnatuur Rotterdam werden er op 25 maart 2019 drie kunsthorsten voor buizerds geplaatst verspreid op het golfterrein. Er worden grote eisen gesteld aan kunsthorsten en het plaatsen van kunsthorsten gebeurt altijd vóór het broedseizoen of aan het eind van het jaar om andere diersoorten niet te storen. Met dit soort acties blijft de buizerd voor het stedelijk gebied ook op de langere termijn beter behouden.

Because many developments will take place in the vicinity of the Capelse Golfbaan over the next two years, it is possible that the current horsten (nests used all year round) of the local buzzards may be disturbed. Compensation with artificial nests is necessary to maintain buzzards in the area.
In collaboration with the ecologist of Stadsnatuur Rotterdam, three artificial nests for buzzards were placed on the golf course on 25 March 2019. High demands are placed on artificial nests and they are always placed before the breeding season or at the end of the year to avoid disturbing other animal species. With these types of actions, the buzzard for urban areas is also better preserved in the longer term.
