Golfclub Anderstein collaborates with Meer Bomen Nu (More Trees Now), an initiative launched by MEERGroen, Caring Farmers, and Urgenda. This joint effort aims to enhance biodiversity recovery in the Netherlands by harvesting seedlings from one location and transplanting them to others.
Volunteers from MeerBomenNu and the golf club joined forces in February 2024 to harvest seedlings from the heather, which were then relocated to more suitable areas. Over 600 trees and bushes were successfully harvested during this endeavor.
