Golf Club de Genève is taking significant steps to reduce energy consumption. Starting in early 2024, we installed photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the greenkeepers’ service buildings, the caddy master, and the driving range. These panels, provided by Tera Solar SA, cover a total area of 740m² and generate up to 156 kilowatt-peak (kWp) of power, meeting a third of the Club's electricity needs.

This initiative not only reduces our reliance on external energy sources but also helps us become more energy independent, contributing to a significant reduction in our carbon footprint. The system has been fully operational since February 2024.
