Il nostro percorso si estende su una superficie di circa 62 ettari ed è inserito all’interno di una zona endemica di interesse naturalistico, ittico e faunistico, posto alla confluenza tra il torrente Stura di Demonte ed il fiume Tanaro. Abbiamo più di 40 specie arboree ed arbustive ed oltre 1500 piante, tra cui diversi esemplari con circonferenza superiore a 150 cm e i nostri 6 laghetti artificiali si prestano alla nidificazione e all’insediamento di varie specie animali. Sono state rilevate oltre 30 specie di uccelli di cui oltre la metà rari e protetti, una dozzina di specie di mammiferi fra cui anche ungulati, una fauna ittica costituita principalmente da pesci bianchi e numerose specie di fauna minore che hanno conseguentemente favorito l’insediamento di rapaci e strigiformi notturni.Ci siamo candidati per il riconoscimento della FIG “Impegnati nel Verde” in Biodiversità per il 2019 ed è in corso la procedura per la certificazione GEO.

Our golf course spans a surface of 62 hectares and is located in a zone rich with naturalistic, ichthyic and faunistic interest, situated at the confluence of the Stura creek of Demonte and the Tanaro river. We have more than 40 arboreal and shrub-like species that together add up to over 1,500 plants, among which several exemplars with a circumference greater than 150 centimetres, and our six artificial lakes are suitable for the nesting and settlement of various animal species.
Over 30 species of birds have been detected, over half of which are protected, a dozen species of mammals among which ungulates, an ichthyic fauna mainly made up of white fish and many species of minor fauna which consequently facilitated the settlement of birds of prey and Strigiformes. We applied for the Italian Golf Federation “Impegnati nel Verde” award for Biodiversity in 2019 and the procedure for obtaining the GEO certification is ongoing.
