The event was illuminated by 20 solar lighting towers, showcasing our commitment to renewable energy. In line with our zero-waste goals, all leftover food was donated to CHATS – Community Help & Togetherness, ensuring nothing went to waste. We’re also proud to report that 90% of the banners and mesh used on-site are biodegradable, breaking down within six months, which drastically reduces our environmental footprint.
Beyond the event itself, we made lasting contributions to the local community. Over 50 pieces of equipment, including games and furniture, were donated to Nature Play SA, encouraging kids to engage with the outdoors.
Sustainability was also front and centre at our venues, where we used certified biodegradable and compostable packaging, cups, and cutlery. Impressively, 85% of our catering packaging met these eco-friendly standards, minimising waste and supporting a cleaner environment.
