A new wildflower meadow for our pollinators

The area behind the greenside bunker on the 6th hole has recently undergone redevelopment. Previously, it was perceived as a messy area filled with untidy shrubs, which consequently obstructed the view that our golfers had of the course lake and other holes.

The decision was made to repurpose the land by utilising wildflowers instead of sowing native grasses, which would have demanded more resources and management. The results have been remarkable and have yielded several benefits, including the creation of new habitat, the attraction of pollinators, and a significantly enhanced aesthetic appeal for our members and visitors.
