In 2021 we have started a 3R initiative, in order to maximise our recycling, reusing, and reducing performances. We are increasing week after week the number of objects created to give new life to previously wasted materials that would be otherwise destined to the landfill.
The following items have been produced with over 95% recycled materials: a small house for our organic garden, all furniture in our superintendent's office, a food service golf car, two insect houses, three garbage cans, 42 putting green flags, shelves for the caddie master room, and a box for the plastic cup collection.
The initiative has involved also several members and its success has convinced us to spread the message among our junior team players and to include it in the next Venice Open Sustainability Actions.
