In addition to using 100% recycled water for irrigation, the golf course is also fully equipped with warm-season Bermuda grasses, including on all the greens.

In 2017, the decision was made to change the grass from a cool season grass to ultradwarf bermudagrass. This variety of grass requires fewer chemical applications as well as less water consumption to be applied, whilst still maintaining top quality conditions across the year. By converting to a warm season grass, water consumption has been reduced across the golf course by up to 30%.
